the vendors at your event, one tap away.
organisers share one link, the crowd orders from every stall without leaving their spot, and vendors sell more while nobody queues. that's it, really.
how it works, in three steps
we could have made it four, but three felt lazier.
- 1
share your link
create your event, invite your vendors and share one link or QR code with your crowd, and that's the hard part done.
- 2
they order
your crowd sees every vendor inside and nearby, picks what they fancy and pays right there on their phone.
- 3
pick it up
the vendor gets the order and marks it ready, then the attendee strolls over and collects it without missing a thing.
why layovr?
for the crowd
see what's on offer before you leave your seat, then order, pay and stroll over once it's ready.
for organisers
happier attendees and shorter queues, with a dashboard that shows what's selling and when.
for vendors
more orders and less shouting over the music, with your money paid straight into your account.
why layovr, not in-house?
fair question, and your team is brilliant at events, which is exactly why they shouldn't also have to be an ordering app.
vendors, sorted
invite the vendors you already work with or let us help find more, and since the network grows with every event, it's there for you next time too.
live in days, not quarters
create the event in minutes, invite your vendors and print the QR, all without a build, a sprint plan or a budget line for an app.
reach past the gate
attendees see vendors inside and just outside the venue, so the crowd gets more choice and nearby businesses get a reason to love your event.
you earn, you don't fund
instead of paying for a build, your event can take a share of what's sold, so just ask us how that would work for yours.
what does it cost?
nothing to set up, while vendors pay a small commission per order after their free first month, and extras are quoted upfront so you only pay if you say yes.
will it look like our brand?
yes, your logo and colours lead the event page with layovr kept nice and small, and you can go fully branded with the custom experience extra.
who owns the data?
you see your event's sales and activity in your dashboard, and we never sell attendee data. our privacy page says exactly what we keep and why.
we'll just build it ourselves.
you could, but that means a payments system, a vendor onboarding flow, live order tracking and a support desk, all built and kept running for a few event days a year, or a link you could share this afternoon.
extras
the basics are free, and these are the little extras that make an event feel effortless.
layovr pilots
extra hands on the ground, in layovr colours.
trained on-ground staff who guide attendees to stalls, help first-timers order, and keep pickup points moving. you choose how many and for which hours.

what people told us at moonshot 2026
we spent moonshot by TechCabal in Lagos watching people hunt for food between sessions, so we asked them about it, and 135 attendees from 17 countries answered across every meal of both days.
“Nobody could tell me where the buffet tables were set up. I wandered around the venue asking strangers for directions. Dinner on Day 1 was served late and everyone seemed tired by then.”

quick answers
what is layovr?
it's a link or QR code your event shares with its crowd, and it opens a page with every vendor at the event (plus the ones just outside) so people can order, pay and pick it up without queueing.
do attendees need an app?
nope, it opens right in the phone's browser and copes fine with slow connections, and anyone who loves it can save it to their home screen.
how much does it cost to set up?
nothing at all to create an event, while vendors pay a small commission per order once their free first month is up, and any extras are quoted upfront.
how do people pay?
at pickup, or by card or bank through Paystack wherever the vendor has it switched on. card payments split automatically, so each vendor's share goes straight to their account.
is there delivery?
not yet, so for now people pick up their order at the stall or at a pickup point just outside the venue.
can my business sell at events on layovr?
yes, and it only takes a few minutes to join and add your menu, your first month has no commission, and organisers can invite you straight into their event.
ready when you are
it takes about two minutes and no card, and captain will keep you company the whole way.
