- open the app's link in Safari.
- tap the share button (the square with an arrow).
- scroll down and tap "add to home screen".
- tap "add". its icon shows in its own colour.

- open the app's link in Chrome.
- tap the menu (three dots, top right).
- tap "add to home screen" or "install app".
- tap "add" or "install".
do it once for each app you use. if an icon looks wrong, remove it from your home screen and add it again.
